Jo Himel , owner of Texas Assessment Specialists, is a Texas Certified Educational Diagnostician who has been specializing in assessments for more than twenty five years. Her educational background includes an elementary education degree from The University of Texas at El Paso. Her masters of education, specializing in special education as a diagnostician, is from Lamar University.
Texas Assessment Specialists has worked with neurologists, pediatricians, as well as licensed professional counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists for more than twenty years. Providing high quality assessments in educational as well as psychological assessments to help our clients understand their diagnosis better is their goal. These assessments are accepted by College Board Accommodations staff, Colleges in all 50 states, Internatlional Schools, private schools, as well as many public schools. Jo Himel will take the time to explain and answer your questions when a report is given to you about the assessments provided by Texas Assessment Specialists.
